Tristan Williams-Page 23 Ethical Choices

For my ethical choice I decided on deemphasizing negative test results in a report on your product idea. I believe that the decision not to emphasize negative results is not fair to the consumer or company that is promoting your product. As a consumer I would be highly upset if I purchased that product and it did not give me the results that it promised. I would also, be upset that I paid for this product. From a companies stand point if I was placing money into this company and it wasn't promising what it said it promised I would be losing out on money. That would also make my company look bad if I stood behind this product. Which could cause consumers never to purchase something from my company again.

I would have my boss to change the little saying like “punch” and “ASAP” in the e-mail because they may not know what those sayings mean. I would have my boss change the last sentence when he is telling the employers that he will do his level best to sell America. I would instead say,” I hope that you enjoy your time here in America and that you have a wonderful experience in the nation that I love so much.” I would not consider this message to be audience centered because some of the slang in the e-mail the audience wouldn’t understand due to their culture barrier.
